CJ Services, based in Runcorn, provide a dedicated high quality Point of Sale installation and maintenance service to a number of blue chip clients throughout the UK. The company has ambitious growth plans and recognised that it needed support within the field of Human Resources.

Managing Director Chris Langford takes up the story: “We initially approached our local Business Link, who gave us a number of suppliers, and we arranged for them to meet our management team. Ariadne Associates were our unanimous choice: our consultant Simon Jones demonstrated not only a good knowledge of HR but appreciated how it would fit into our overall business plans.”

To date, Ariadne Associates have worked with managers at CJ to develop effective recruitment procedures and performance review systems, and have recently begun a review of the compensation and reward strategy. In addition they provide advice on day-to-day managerial issues and have ensured that basic HR systems are up to date and compliant with current employment law.
